Petting Zoo

The Nuestras Raíces Farm Petting Farm is a fun, educational, cultural attraction for people of all ages.

Our baby goats, mini-horses, piglets, chicks and rabbits all love attention. Many are breeds that are from the old farming days of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, and are rarely seen in Massachusetts or even there any more. Meet Cholo the squeaking pig - Say "¡Hola!" to El Guapo the rooster.

The Petting Farm is run by the Youth Leaders of Nuestras Raíces who maintain the animals and the Petting Farm site with loving care and attention. There are sanitary facilities in accord with all accepted practices, codes and regulations. We have staff members to explain the history and habits of most animals.

We can help you coordinate field trips for your group, school or church, so please give us a call for more details or to schedule your trip.
