Workshop two: Manufacturing & Regulatory Compliance
This session provides an introduction to the state and federal regulations that apply to value-added product manufacturing. Participants will learn where products can be legally produced, the permits required for wholesale sales, and labeling requirements. It will also explore product categories based on shelf life and how factors such as formulation, processing, and packaging impact product safety and regulatory compliance.
