When you think of agriculture, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Someone harvesting produce in a field? Or maybe caring for farm animals, like cows and chickens? Well there’s so much MORE! Nuestras Raices’ Occupational Agriculture Youth Lecture and Career Exploration aims to introduce a wide array of agricultural careers to youth ages 14 and older.

With the assistance of seasoned guest speakers like Anthony Reiber (currently a professor at Greenfield Community College) and Stephen Taranto (an Interdisciplinary Ecologist with CISA), youth participants are given an opportunity to connect with industry professionals and collect the resources needed to pursue a career in agriculture!
